The TV Set (trailer): Jake Kasdan (dir.), David Duchovny, Sigourney Weaver, Ioan Gruffudd, Justine Bateman, Willie Garson

Yahoo offers unlimited email storage. I’m at 44% in my gmail account. When it fills up, which will happen, I’m switching.

Personally I think if Kathy Sierra stabbed some guy in the neck with a knife it would translate to hits on her blog.

Photoshop CS3 will have filters that are non linear and act much more like the layer styles.

See you there. A little piece of Jersey right here in Boston.

Last.FM add new events section based on music preferences and updates design yet again!

The frequency of their design changes continues to amaze me. This time they remove the icons in the top menu and mad the words bigger. Many have argued that icons are really not as helpful as the words themselves.

Removing the help menu option seems to have also been a good idea as help really should not be such a large focus of a site.

They also made their logo a lot smaller. This is odd choice but it does seem to fit in to the header’s new layout with the white divider.

We seem to have saved all the endangered animals since the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has a 117-page draft proposal to “limit the number of species that can be protected and curtail the acres of wildlife habitat to be preserved.” I’m so glad we fixed this problem. Kathy Sierra, one of the best technology speakers alive today, has been receiving death threats and has canceled all of her public appearances. This is not just an assault on Kathy but the entire tech community. I only wish we could do more for her.

Netflix vacation policy: take as much as you’d like. Just make sure your work is done. Just more reasons why I will never give blockbuster another dollar. I enjoy using companies that have good corporate policy. (via Kottke)

This Ninja Warrior show on G4 is crazy. There is no way American insurance companies would allow this show to exist.

Apparently lots of photo copiers have built in hard drives and keep digital copies of everything completly unencrypted. Careful what you photocopy.

Dairy Queen ruins their perfectly good logo.

The recent Ninja Turtles cartoon was amazing and I had hopes that would translate in to a good movie. Rotten Tomatoes has brought me out of my delusions of anything worth seeing.

Netflix should have an rss feed for newly added movies to their on demand system.

I love spoofs on the mac commercials. This one has the best integration of Linux I’ve seen.
