Being the Warren Buffet rss subscriptions Kottke has doomed me to constantly refreshing his page in hopes of finding all the hidden ingredients of his website. 110 cases? 72% infants? That’s only like 27 adults. Or 1 out of every 11 million people (approx.)

RIP Veronica Mars 2004 – 2007. This first season was one of the best seasons ever. Though the next two seasons were clearly better then anything else on TV it never had the same luster as the first season. I mostly blame the network.

Zach Braff had a really great monologue on SNL last night (Video) with an awesome song about New Jersey. Off hand he mentioned the Statue of Liberty and how it’s really in NJ. This is something thrown around a lot in NJ and it renewed my interest about topic.
After pouring over the Wikipedia talk page for the Statue and sorting through arguments over the original 1664 charter and interstate compacts from 1834 I think I have the wording that makes the most sense.
Liberty Island is physically located with in the borders of Hudson County, NJ. But the island itself is federal property, belonging to no state, but federally managed through the State of New York.
So really no one owns it. But it is in NJ and it can be considered part of NY since the State over sees the running of the island. So in most ways everyone is correct.

Tom Hodges tried to defend this Mary Jane statue saying “ANYONE who complains about this piece obvious does NOT read Superhero comics”. If he’s referring to the fact that all super hero comics portray a sexist view of women he’s absolutely correct but that hardly sounds like a solid defense.
While this piece should not draw any more ire then the rest of the superhero world that should not make it immune from criticism. Every problem has to approached from some angle and if this model brings more attention to the problems in comics then all the better.
No matter how hard you try an “every one else is doing it” defense is not going to garner a lot of support.
Sign in to a Google Account and see the new Google header that now sits across all their online services. Besides looking different it also has a more link with a drop down menu of many other Google services. The only mistake is that I can’t middle click the drop down list to open in a new tab instead of a new window.
RIP Gilmore Girls 2000 – 2007. Though it was on life support it’s last two years and we all wanted it to pass away it’s still sad to see an era come to an end.
Avatar complete season 2 DVD announced with an entire extra DVD of bonus material. The first season was a little slim on bonus material but what was there was good stuff. I looks like they got good feed back on that bonus material and are ramping it up this season.
