In case you were confused, Kristen Bell was totally awesome.
Bloglines just released a pretty big beta update. This is good news for anyone still using bloglines, which has been on a steady decline. It seems pretty fast but it just feels like a cluttered Google reader.
Finally got a chance to watch danah boyd’s presentation that she did down in Australia. I’ve read her site for a while but really learned alot of stuff about the education system. Some of which I knew and some of which I didn’t but all of it framed in a way I had not thought about it. Definitely worth a watch if you interested in the direction America’s youth is moving.

The 2008 SXSW Interactive Panel Picker is live. What horrible panels do they have planed this year? My god don’t vote for anything that looks like a waste of time.
They show a browser window at first but I have a hard time believing this kind of technology will really be integrated in to any document viewer. This would be a great photoshop filter though.
Philip Reeve’s book Larklight now has a sequel by the name of StarCross. The US cover sucks, I’ll have to import the UK version. It seems the series has also been optioned by Warner Brothers. (via Brass Goggles)
Just bought an old xbox game for my xbox 360. Prince of Persia: Warrior Within. It was cheep but I forgot to check the list of backwards compatible xbox games which to date only stands at 394 games. Perhaps my fault but still disappointing.
Similarly I was with some friends who just discovered the Wii and were looking to buy one. Why does GameStop have empty Wii boxes behind the counter? They were about to drop over a thousand dollars on Wiis (for family and friends wanted them too) untill they were finally told those boxes we all empty. Kinda ridiculous.

It’s been a while since I’ve been to the Mike Viola site (get a decent website Mike!) but this is a good live video of Love’s Long Sleep.
Wikipedia: Shipping (fandom) – Because every person who is a rabid fan of something should know there are others out there.
Yet another reminder that DRMed content can disappear at almost any time. If you bought any video from google video it’s now gone forever. I’d love to see a law suit come out of this that forced cooperations to release any DRMed media that was being discontinued. It would be good for the consumer and make content creators worry about releasing DRMed files.
This is a pretty good article at boston.com about the new startup community that’s building in boston. Boston has a history of start ups but the west coast has always had a leg up on the social scene which boston is just peacing together now. Boston doesn’t have as many people as the valley but with such a small town you think the tech folk would meet up more then they do.
