This has to be one of the worst songs and music videos ever. I was fine just ignoring Avril Lavigne until now but this is just bad. Though this cover of Complicated by Ben Gibbard is awesome.

Some great reviews are finally coming out for the Eames Era’s new album. I have to agree with most of the article, I had a lot of the same criticism.

The College of New Jersey’s radio station WTSR is about to start webcasting. While it’s not the best station ever it’s always nice when they make leaps forward in service to it’s alumni which for the most part they ignore.

Television Without Pity has a great podcast about Veronica Mars that consistently has writer and directors on to talk about the weeks episode. This is really unique and make me sad I had not know about it earlier in the shows run.

Great articles talking about presidential candidates’ websites and how Wikipedia out ranks many of them.

Great video with the CEO of Ning which is a site that lets anyone create a social network. I’ve always been a fan of Ning and it really looks like it’s coming together in to a very slick site.

Crazy article about money and how we should declare the penny to be worth five cents. I think the most interesting part is that while this is a small form of inflation the gained wealth does go mostly to the poor who deal the most with cash.

Stephan Colbert has announced his new Integrity Justice blog when he will post fake news in hope of having it make it in to the mainstream news by having tons of blogger agree with him. Sadly the site is not live yet. This seems to be the first time Colbert has told every one to go to a site that does not seem to exist.

Raph Koster, god of gaming, will be at SXSW. He hasn’t said what panels but I have a feeling they will be great.

Song 3:Rapwing Lair pt1, Rapwing Lair pt2

Okay. This week is special. I am not really a rap fan. I have nothing against it. Just not my cup of tea. This song might not be the best rap song ever but I think it’s worth listening to for educational value alone.

Rapwing Lair is an extensive “rhythmic project,” as described by Connery, to detail how one defeats every single boss in Blackwing Lair in World of Warcraft while mixing disparate styles of hip hop.

It’s really amazing to hear the different styles of rap. What makes the styles more clear to listen to is that the content is so different from mainstream rap that it’s easier to focus on the rhyme and rhythm.

The Styles include:

Underground Hardcore
Tupac Shakur Impersonation
Dirty South – West Coast
East Coast – New School
Underground Hardcore
Snoop Dogg Impersonation
Jurassic 5 Impersonation
NYC Gangsta-ish

New Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles tailer out. I have some high hopes for this movie and I everything I have seen seems to support this. I look forward to this movie coming out.

Live action Avatar: The Last Airbender movie coming to big screens. M. Night Shyamalan is at the helm as writer, directer and producer. I suppose it could be good but really why live action? I can’t say I’m too hopeful.

The origin of the western school system is actually kind of frightening.

More and more I feel like history is repeating itself “In the panicky aftermath of the attack, the Roman people made decisions that set them on the path to the destruction of their Constitution, their democracy and their liberty”

Odd Job Jack, a Canadian cartoon, is releasing the master flash files with all art work for all 13 episodes. I can’t stop thinking about what an amazing resource this will be for art students. A lot of time you get stuck at the beginning of a project because there so much work you need to do before you can start making a flash movie. This will be great for people who want to focus on content creation instead of endless illustration.
